Summary: Great for popcorn but watch carefully
Comment: This is a powerful oven and if you are coming from an older generation (<700W) be mindful that things happen faster. That can be a two-edged sword since certain foods will heat unevenly at high power ratings.
Popcorn in bags comes out great - the settings for bag weight are pretty accurate and produce a minimum of unpopped kernels. You can burn the popcorn quickly by trying for more time than the presets.
The only thing I can find at fault is the combination of a very tenacious door latch and the light weight of the machine. Pulling the door open usually causes the oven to slide toward you with the potential for liquid spillage. You have to brace against the right side and then pull the door open. UPDATE: I sprayed some dry silicone lubricant and now the door opens without moving the oven.
Otherwise, for the price, it was a great deal and works well. I have no doubt it is more electric-efficient as well.

Comment: I got 2 of these ovens at a great price. The wattage and volume was perfect and the price was even better. You can't go wrong for a basic microwave.

Summary: Poor Quality Panasonic
Comment: This microwave doesn't meet the quality that you expect from Panasonic. I have owned mine for a little over a month and it's off to the repair center. It overheats and trips the 20amp circuit breaker. Overall, having mentioned the major defect, the unit is cheaply constructed. The door is flimsy, the display window light is too dim to read easily, and there is no light in the unit unless it is in operation. Thumbs down, I wish I had not purchased it.

Comment: The micro wave does a very good job. But you have to watch out because it is a 1200watt oven and many foods are not rated for this high a rating.
