Debug mode:
Hold Punch + Kick + Guard + Escape, then press Start to begin the game.

Alternate costumes:
Highlight a fighter at the character selection screen then hold Start and press Punch, Kick, Escape, or Guard.

Fight as Alphabet Man:
Select Original Battle one on one mode. At the character selection screen, highlight Akira, press Start, highlight Lion, press Start, highlight Pai, and press Start.

Fight against Alphabet Man:
Select Original Battle one on one mode. At the character selection screen, highlight Akira, press Start, highlight Lau, press Start, highlight Pai, and press Start.

View programmer:
Select Original Battle versus mode. At the character selection screen, highlight Taka, press Start, highlight Sarah, press Start, highlight Lau, press Start, highlight Kage, press Start, highlight Akira, and press Start. One of the programmers will replace Lau's portrait.

Change winning pose:
Hold Punch, Kick, Escape, Guard, Guard + Punch, or Guard + Kick immediately after winning a match to select one of four different poses.

Original Battle mode:
Press Down + Start for the single character, original battle format mode. Repeat this code to return to Team Battle mode.

Control camera:
Press Start during a single player game to cycle through four different views.

Skip ending credits:
Hold Start during the credits.

View credits:
Hold Start during demo mode. Note: This does not work if the machine is in free play mode.

Alternate music:
Hold Start (player one) + Start (player two) before a match begins in demo mode. Note: This does not work if the machine is in free play mode.

Disable music:
Hold Start when the music stops just before the first match begins in two player versus mode.

Skip replay:
Press Start during a replay at the end of a match.

Slow motion replay:
Press Escape after a round to watch the replay in slow motion.

Prevent replay skip:
Hold Punch, Kick, or Guard during a replay in two player mode to prevent the other player from skipping it.

Random background:
Select two player mode, then hold Start while selecting a stage.

Hint: Jacky or Kage: Peach sign taunt:
Hold Down + Punch + Guard + Escape after a round to do the peace sign.

Hint: Jacky's stage: Sparks:
Play in Jacky's stage in versus mode. Hold Punch + Escape before the match begins to throw sparks on your opponent. Note: This will work only for the first player that does it.

Hint: Jeffrey: Train sequence:
Play as Jeffrey in Dural's Desert stage. Successfully execute his Toe Kick Of Doom to see a train fly from the background.

Hint: Pai: Kiss taunt:
Defeat Akira with an "Excellent" finish, then hold Down + Punch + Guard + Escape to do kiss taunt.

Hint: Shun: Snowman appearance:
Win at Wolf's Desert stage. From time to time, a snowman will appear.
